We are delighted to present our charity Christmas event for 2022 which will take place on Sunday December 4th from 2pm - 6pm. This will be our fourth Christmas celebration at the chateau, and as previously, promises to be a delightful seasonal afternoon of music, good food and fun. You will be greeted with mulled wine followed by a classical musical recital, then, a delicious hot buffet and the opportunity to join in some well loved Christmas carols and songs. There will also be a raffle in aid of our chosen charity - Le Chats de Queaux, and home made mince pies will definitely make an appearance!

This year's recital will be performed by "Pianoflauti", a classical trio based in the Vienne - flautists Louise Goodwin and Rachel Ward, with Mike Fowler on piano. The programme will include music by Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Debussy, Ravel and Delibes.

Pianoflauti's debut performance was for the inauguration of Brigueil-le-Chantre’s church after 8 long years of restoration. Their audience of over 200 guests, included Yves Bouloux a Senateur for the Vienne in the Upper House of the French parliament, and our very own Mayor Patrick Daubisse.

“Usually, when an inauguration takes place, a ribbon is cut, however, during this event, under the presidency of Patrick Daubisse, mayor of Brigueil-le-Chantre, it was to music to the tunes of Debussy or Mozart that some 200 guests were welcomed inside the building on Saturday 14th May.”
