Our Chateau
We are Belinda & Lee Prince and we bought the charming medieval Chateau Mareuil in April 2015. We are totally in love with France and all things French and therefore our passion is now our business!
Situated in a beautiful corner of the Vienne, Chateau Mareuil is a bijou ancient chateau which dates back to the 15th century.
The castle itself is flanked by picturesque outbuildings, a grand Donjon and a pretty cottage. in addition, there are two recent barn renovations providing further accommodation - a studio apartment for 2 and a newly renovated 2 bedroom gite which sleeps up to 6. Chateau Mareuil is set in luscious gardens with an abundance of fruit and flowers and has it's own private river frontage.
Relax in your beautiful suite, our elegant and comfortable salon, on the terrace, in the "sky" garden or take a stroll along our private river!
Our Swimming Pool is total luxury measuring an impressive 12m x 6m!
At Château Mareuil, we are totally focused on providing luxury accommodation and delicious food on - you can book Bed & Breakfast or a self catering break!
We have created 2 charming guest suites and a pretty ground floor en-suite bedroom in the Château itself.
The Princess Suite sleeps up to 6 with a beautiful contemporary shower room of the highest standard.
The Prince Suite sleeps up to 3 and boasts a designer bathroom created by artisan craftsmen - this Suite is very suitable for honeymooners!
The Petite Princess is a pretty family room sleeping up to 4 on the ground floor level with 2 vintage French double beds and an en-suite shower room.
Our brand new Petit Donjon, is a charming renovation of a former tool shed, which we have turned into a stunning 2 bedroom gite, sleeping up to 6 guests.
There is also a recently converted studio apartment - The Petit Prince Studio, available for 2 people.
In total, we can accommodate up to 22 guests on-site plus babies.
We have recently completed a Bar/Games room in the former Chapel with an American pool table which is available to you during your stay.
A contemporary luxury 12m x 6m swimming pool is available to our guests.
Your hosts Lee & Belinda also offer delicious evening meals to order, 4 courses including wine for €39 per head.
